Q. When did the program start and when will it end?
A. Zoom’s Refer-A-Friend program launched in July 2022 and will continue to run until otherwise indicated. Zoom may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or any Advocate’s (Referrer) or Friend’s (Referee) ability to participate in the Program at any time for any reason at its sole discretion.

Q. Who is eligible to be an Advocate (Referrer) and participate in the Refer-A-Friend program?
A. You must be sixteen (16) or older to have a Zoom account, and reside in or be a permanent resident of the United States or Mexico to refer a friend and earn a reward.

You also must have an existing Zoom Basic or Pro account or sign-up for a Zoom Basic or Pro account before you can become an Advocate (referrer). The Zoom Basic or Pro account cannot be associated with a Healthcare, Education, Enterprise, or Government account. In order to earn a reward, your friend must be a new Pro Annual subscriber (or not have purchased Pro Annual in the past twelve months). Your friend also cannot have any other coupons, discounts, or promotions on their account.

Once you are signed in to Zoom, you can click any of the Refer-A-Friend calls to action throughout the website or directly visit rewards.zoom.us to get your unique referral link and start sharing! You can send a referral email or post your link on social channels.

Q. How do you know that I referred friends?
A. Through your unique link, we are able to track all of your referrals and make sure you receive your rewards. If a friend clicks on your link and makes a purchase, you’ll earn a $20 USD or 400$ MXN Amazon.com Gift Card.

Q. Why doesn’t rewards.zoom.us work for me? I get an ineligible notification.
A. You must reside in or be a permanent resident of the United States or Mexico to become an Advocate (Referrer) and refer friends. Additionally, you must currently be located within the country.

Q. I do not see any reference to Refer-A-Friend on the website. Why not?
A. You must reside in or be a permanent resident of the United States or Mexico to become an Advocate (Referrer) and refer friends. All calls to action and references to the program are presented only to the United States and Mexico.

Q. How do I find my referral link?
A. You can find your unique referral link by logging into Zoom and visiting rewards.zoom.us.

Q. How many people can I refer?
A. You can refer an unlimited number of friends and we encourage you to share with as many as possible! However, in the United States Advocates (Referrers) are only eligible to earn up to $500 USD in Amazon.com Gift Cards per calendar year.

Q. I just signed up for Zoom via a referral link from a friend. Can I refer friends now?

Q. When will the referral program be available in my country?
A. We do not have a set time when the program will be available in additional countries, but we look forward to expanding this program to more countries in the future.

Q. Can I refer friends that live in countries outside of the United States and Mexico?
A. Absolutely! You can refer friends and family globally to join you on Zoom. Please make sure you have all permissions required by applicable law prior to sharing your unique referral link by direct marketing.

Q. How do I track my referrals?
A. You will receive an email informing you that your reward is on its way when a friend makes a purchase through your unique referral link. You will then get your gift card sent in a separate email.

Q. How will my friend know that I am the one who is referring them?
A. It is your choice how you share your referral link. If you choose to share via email, the email will be sent from your email address. If you choose to share via Facebook, Twitter, or Messenger, it will come from your social channel.

Q. What reward do I earn for referring my friends and how much can I earn? A. For every eligible friend that makes a purchase through your referral link, you’ll earn a $20 USD or 400$ MXN Amazon.com Gift Card per license of Pro Annual purchase by a friend in a single transaction, up to a maximum of $180 USD or 3600$ MXN in gift cards per such transaction. In the United States, you can earn a maximum of $500 USD in gift cards per calendar year.

Q. Once I have made a referral, when will I receive my reward?
A. Your eligible friend must make a purchase through your unique share link. We fulfill rewards within 48-72 hours of your friend making a purchase through your unique referral link. You will receive an email letting you know the reward is on its way, and then a separate email that contains your Amazon.com Gift Card.

Q. How do I know when I’ve earned a reward?
A. Once your eligible friend has made a purchase through your unique referral link, you’ll receive an email letting you know your reward is on its way. Within 48 hours, the $20 USD or 400$ MXN Amazon.com Gift Card will be sent to your email.

Q. Will I still get credit if my friend signs up using a different email address than I sent their email to?
A. As long as your friend is eligible and purchases directly from your referral link, you will receive your reward. You will not receive a reward if the purchase was made outside of your unique referral link. There are no exceptions.

Q. I told my friend to purchase Zoom and they did, but they didn’t use my link. How can I get credit?
A. You will only receive a reward if your friend purchased directly through your link. You will not receive a reward if the purchase was made outside of your unique referral link. There are no exceptions.

Q. What if I referred a friend to join Zoom and someone else also referred that friend?
A. If your friend receives referrals from multiple senders, only the sender of the referral link that’s used will earn a reward.

Q. I accidentally deleted my reward email. Can it be resent?
A. Yes, of course. Simply contact us at rafsupport@zoom.us and we’ll resend your reward to you via email. Make sure to supply us with the email address you used to join the Refer-A-Friend program. We can only send to the email address on file - we cannot send to any other email address.

Q. Why didn’t I get my reward?
A. First, please make sure you’ve checked your spam/junk folders. Your reward email comes from “Zoom” and the email address is . It will be sent to the email address on your Zoom account that you used to refer. We are unable to send it to any other email address.

In order to receive a reward, your friend must have made a purchase of Zoom Pro Annual through your unique referral link only. Any and all other purchases are not eligible for the reward. Additionally, your friend must have met all of the applicable requirements including being at least 16 or older, and not previously purchased Pro Annual in the past 12 months.

If you are certain all of these requirements were met, contact us at rafsupport@zoom.us with the email address you used to participate in the program. In this email, please send us the email address of your friend, and we will look up the referral in our system.

Q. I have an issue with my gift card - the code won’t work, it says already redeemed, etc.
A. Please reach out to our gift card provider, Tango, with questions related to the redemption of your gift card at help.tangocard.com.

Q. How do I unsubscribe from your email list?
A. Each email sent from Zoom will contain an unsubscribe link. Please note if someone chooses to refer you from their personal email, it is because they thought you might like this opportunity. These emails are not managed or sent by Zoom. We do not sell email addresses and we do not send spam.

Q. I purchased a Pro Annual account after I was referred by a friend and I no longer want the account. Can I cancel my account?
A. You may cancel your Zoom Pro Annual account at any time. Your account will be active through your first year of purchase and canceled a year from your purchase date. Please note that Zoom Pro Annual accounts purchased through a Refer-A-Friend program referral link are non-refundable, which was illustrated in the Terms and Conditions you accepted prior to purchase.

Q. I purchased a Pro Annual account after I was referred by a friend and would like a refund.
A. You may cancel your Zoom Pro Annual account at any time. Your account will be active through your first year of purchase and canceled a year from your purchase date. Please note that Zoom Pro Annual accounts purchased through a Refer-A-Friend program referral link are non-refundable, which was illustrated in the Terms and Conditions you accepted prior to purchase.

Q. I purchased a Pro Annual account (before the program launched/through a different link) and did not get 30% off. Can I get 30% off now?
A. You must purchase Pro Annual through an Advocate’s (Referrer’s) unique referral link to receive 30% off. Any purchases made outside of this link are not eligible for the promotion.

Q. Are there any special restrictions or rules for the Refer-A-Friend program?
A. This program has a simple set of rules to make sure that Advocates are referring to friends and family only, with their consent. The rules are:
  1. You may earn one $20 USD or 400$ MXN Amazon.com Gift Card per license of Pro Annual purchase by a friend in a single transaction, up to a maximum of $180 USD or 3600$ MXN in gift cards per such transaction.
  2. In the United States, you can earn a maximum of $500 USD in gift cards per calendar year.
  3. You may not submit multiple email addresses in an attempt to earn a reward or an additional reward.
  4. You may not participate in the referral program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable laws or regulations.
  5. You may not use spam to obtain referrals. You may not acquire referrals through unsolicited email to persons unknown to you, or through net or message board posting where the postings are unrelated to the topic of discussion or otherwise violate the terms of the site.
  6. We do not guarantee delivery time on any rewards earned, nor do we guarantee receipt of any rewards.

Friend (Referee) Terms and Conditions - 30% off the first year of Pro Annual
The discount offer is only available to new customers purchasing a Pro Annual plan online and who do not have pre-existing discounts. Offer has no cash value and can only be used for a maximum of 9 Pro annual plan licenses per purchase. The discount will be effective for 1 annual billing cycle. Fees paid for such purchases are non-refundable. Offer cannot be combined, exchanged, or used in conjunction with any other offer. Please note that Federal, State, and Local governments are not eligible to be a referrer. All fees exclude taxes. Restrictions apply to Amazon.com gift cards; see amazom.com/gc-legal.

This yearly plan will auto-renew on ${subscription_start_date} and each year (your “subscription period”) thereafter, and your payment method on file at zoom.us/billing will be charged ${amount_without_discount} each subscription period until you cancel. You can cancel auto-renewal anytime, but you must cancel by the last day of your current subscription period to avoid being charged for the next subscription period. You will not be able to cancel your “base plan” (Zoom Meetings or Zoom Rooms) without first canceling all other subscriptions in your plan. If you cancel, you will not receive a refund for the remainder of your then-current subscription period. You can cancel by navigating to zoom.us/billing and clicking “Cancel Subscription,” clicking through the prompts, and then clicking to confirm cancellation. Should Zoom change its pricing, it will provide you with notice, and you may be charged the new price for subsequent subscription periods.
